Tiny, Perfect Things

This week we enjoyed the story ‘Tiny, Perfect Things’ looking carefully on each page for all the things the family found.  We then did lots of exploring ourselves and made our own collection of tiny, perfect things.  We also enjoyed the stories ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’ and ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ as a focus for our Maths learning.  We have sorted food and drink, created circular patterns, labelled how many and written numbered lists.  We have been outside having fun in the sun exploring the shapes shadows make, threaded around leaves, painted tiny pictures using cotton buds and explored floating and sinking.  What a busy week!  We hope you have enjoyed your learning at home just as much!
