Today, Year 2 have had a bug-tastic time on their trip to Lorton Meadows!

We spent the morning looking for minibeasts in different habitats like the pond, in the woods and under logs. We found lots of different creatures.

Amazingly, we also saw baby Barn owls in their nest thanks to the nest-cam and a Buzzard gliding through the sky about the reserve.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Harris, Mrs Thorne, Mrs Lockwood and Mrs Carter for helping on our trip and to the Lorton Meadows teachers Dan, Alan and Karen. It’s been a wonderful day!
