We are really enjoying our ‘On The Beach’ topic and have had a great time learning about sea creatures, birds, rockpools and shells.

We drew our favourite sea creatures and coloured them using watercolour paints. We are such careful artists now.

In the classroom we have explored provision such as a mini rockpool, fish and construction, sparkly shells and building sea life centres and aquariums!

Using our knowledge of sea creatures, we made zig-zag books.

We have recalled the main features of our story ‘Somebody Swallowed Stanley’ and recorded them using this toolkit:
