Hands up! Who’s up for an END OF THE WEEK VIDEO? ? Check out this message from Mrs Wood if so ??

We think that it might be a nice way to help us all come together as a school community again, it’s always so lovely to see what you have all been up to.
As we started this week with a brilliant Bookflix video from Simon Philip, Children’s Author (check it out if you haven’t yet already!) and seeing as we all have such a buzz for books … why not make an ‘End of the Week Video: Cracking Good Read’ of our own?

We know that so many of you were waiting to record your own video with Mrs Symonds before we unfortunately had to close. Please don’t worry, your forms are safe and we will pick up on this once we get back. However, here is a chance to record anything that you would like to appear in a slightly different and special Cracking Good Reads virtual video. If you would like to be involved please record one of the following options and send it over to us at media@southill.dorset.sch.uk no later than midday on Friday (please remember to turn your phone/camera to landscape first and also that unfortunately you don’t include any of the children’s names):

?a short clip of a book recommendation featuring one of your favourite stories, anything that you are currently reading (your choice!). If you need inspiration please see any of our previous videos which can be found on all our social media pages and school website

?a photo of yourself with one of your favourite stories

?a book review or ‘reading for pleasure’ poster

Please remember that in order to fit everybody in we may only be able to use one piece of media per child.
