This week’s Stormbreak theme is ‘hope and optimism’. Year 3 really impressed me with their explanations of what it means to be hopeful and optimistic and even gave some examples such as: ‘to always believe in yourself’, ‘be positive about achieving your goals’ and ‘don’t give up on something just because you can’t do it YET’!
We then went outside for our Stormbreak session where we ‘moved with the seasons’. We know that getting outside brings us joy and makes us feel more positive and hopeful, so it was the perfect place to do it! The children had to copy and then create their own movements to represent each season. They were all amazing and I couldn’t believe how creative some children were with their movements.
