Wow! What an amazing few days we have spent in Year 5 getting used to be being back at school!  It has been lovely to see how easily and positively the children have settled straight back into routines in and out of class with their friends, well done Year 5.

We have thought about what makes us great and Shouted It Out Loud!  We have started our Time Capsule Letter ready to open at the end of the year.  During our time outside, we have had some circle times to think about our emotions and feelings on our return to school.  Our cloakroom is also now beautifully adorned with our natural name tags on our pegs.

Continuing with our positivity theme, we have listened to the story of Boy, Fox, Mole and Horse and created some of our own positive affirmation posters to keep us going this year.

Add in some fantastic listening, reciprocal learning and some great reading and you can see what a brilliant start to the year we have had in Year 5!
