We’re Wicked at Worded Problems!

Maths can be tricky, right? Well Year Three have been taking on worded problems that have involved either:

adding;

subtracting;

multiplying; or

dividing.

The problem is, they’ve had to work out what the question wants them to do!

In order to help Year 3, we have established some top tips on tackling worded problems. This has really helped as they are now very confident with solving tricky questions. They then thought it would be a great idea to pass this knowledge onto you in case you’re ever stuck in the learning pit with a pesky problem!
