As part of our Human Survial topic we have been learning about the importance of good hygiene by taking part in a science investigation this afternoon.

We rubbed oil into our hands then tried to wash it off, first with just cold water, then with soap and cold water and finally with soap and warm water. We all agreed that soap is really important to clean our hands thoroughly and make sure all the germs are off. The temperature of the water isn’t as important but lots of us felt our hands were cleaner with warmer water.
