Happy Holidays Year 5, you did it! Another brilliant year full of achievements and fun completed! We’ve had a great last week after our residential with free-writes, maths orienteering, reading our time capsule letters, Rounders and enjoying the Alex Rider Stormbreaker film and delicious cakes from Mikey, thank you! Finishing with some friend time on the Chromebooks, phew! We have also enjoyed the exclusive premier of the most anticipated film of the season, ‘Year 5 Canoe the River Wye’ – have a look at the video below!
From Stargazing to growing vegetables, canal warning tales to persuading the witch in Hansel and Gretel, rugby to rounders and Space to Materials, we have had such a full-packed year. Each and every one of you has shown such resilience and dedication and we are proud of you all for all you have achieved this year.
Now it is time to relax, read, eat ice cream, spend time with family and friends, go the beach and enjoy yourselves. We wish you all a fantastic summer holiday and are excited to see all you will achieve when you are back in Year 6!
