This afternoon Year 1 have taken part in their first ever sports day event!

Unfortunately we are still unable to enjoy this as a whole school but we didn’t let that stop us from having a great time in our own little bubble!!!

I was incredibly proud of all of the children in year 1 this afternoon, so everyone won a medal which they wore home with pride!!

All of the children gave the all of the events 100% – even the space hopper race which was quite tricky!!! It was lovely to see everyone cheering on their team mates and encouraging them to be resilient when they were finding it hard. This is such a fantastic attitude to have, you should all be really proud of yourselves.
