This week the children have been continuing their  Magnificent Monarchs topic by sketching themselves as a king or queen and then adding vibrant colour using oil pastels.  They really enjoyed adding their own unique style and included some of their favourite things like a football, books, dancing shoes, hearts and objects of nature.
Also this week we finally open a competition prize! A few months ago we watched an online session with the poet Joshua Seigal and entered a competition to win all his books…and we did! We read one before lunch called “ My teacher is a caveman” which gave us lots of giggles.
