Year Four are ROCKIN’ and ROLLIN’

We all know just how important times tables are. In fact, by the end of Year 4, children are expected to be able to answer ANY times table question up to 12×12 in under 6 seconds!

TT Rockstars is an amazing website dedicated to helping children learn their times tables. Today, the children had the chance to crunch those numbers on TTR whilst listening to some rock music in order to get them in the zone. Astonishingly, some of the children have already become a ‘Rock Legend’. This means that they are answering all times table questions correctly…wait for it…in under 3 seconds! Next week, they will receive a badge and a certificate for their achievements.

I wonder how many more in Year 4 can rise to the challenge and earn themselves a place on the ‘Wall of Fame’ in our classroom?
