‘Southill STUN opponents in incredible tournament win!’
Today, a group of Year 4 pupils made their way to Budmouth Academy in order to participate in a 5-aside football tournament. The children played 7 matches against various local primary schools and they blew the competition out of the water. Here were the results…

Southill 2 – 0 Bincombe
Southill 2 – 0 Atlantic
Southill 3 – 0 St Augustines
Southill 0 – 0 Holy Trinity
Southill 2 – 1 Chickerell
Southill 2 – 0 Conifers
That’s right we were undefeated, only letting in one goal over the seven games! This results in Southill Primary School winning the ‘Sports Centre Champions Cup’.
I could not be prouder of the team. They played with passion, worked incredibly hard and showed incredible sportsmanship throughout the entire tournament.

That was the best football I have played and the team worked their socks off. My screamer probably the best goal I have ever done in my life. And we worked well as a team. Well done champions of year 4!!!!
