In their penultimate week at Southill, Year Six had the wonderful opportunity to visit Weymouth College to take part in three days of Primary College.

After a twenty minute cycle from school to the college (in the sunshine!), the children arrived ready to take part in two activities each day. They were mixed with a variety of different schools so it was an excellent opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Some of the activities  they took part in included: pottery, kickboxing, cooking pizzas, game design, dodgeball, first aid, fashion design, futsall, hairdressing, tv production … and so much more!

The children all had a fantastic time trying out a range of interesting and new activities, meeting new people and getting a little feel for what it might be like at secondary school. We were so impressed with how they organised themselves over the three days and their behaviour was exemplary throughout. Well done, Year 6!
