To welcome our friends back to school we continued exploring one of our favourite books – You Choose (Nick Sharratt). We talked about likes and dislikes, what we would choose, listening to different opinions and ideas and exploring imaginary worlds.

We explored through small world play (farms, space, houses/ transport), reading favourite books, constructing with lego, making puzzles and being crafty. All of this was great to talk about our choices.

We also enjoyed taking part in our Relax Kids session in the school hall.

We also made cards to celebrate Mothering Sunday.

Mrs Puddick has enjoyed seeing the children every day, on the big screen, to help with our phonics, drawing, writing and stories. We have all had time to read individually to her as well. We have been using some of her photographs to talk about what we can see in nature around us. We enjoyed talking about this robin.

Well done for returning to school with smiles to learn together. Lots of lovely things to share.
