New Year, New Learning!
Happy New Year 2026!
Happy New Year and welcome back! The children have returned full of energy and enthusiasm, and we have jumped straight back into learning this week.
We have been busy strengthening our fingers by using small hammers and cork boards. This hands-on activity has been great for developing fine motor skills and supporting our writing. The children have also enjoyed working together in pairs and small teams to create and solve puzzles, encouraging cooperation, problem-solving, and communication.
Imaginative play has been in full swing too. Some children have taken on the role of a vet, keeping very busy caring for sick animals, while others have been hard at work building and creating in the building yard.
We have also made the most of the freezing weather by taking our creativity outdoors. The children loved exploring painting on ice and experimenting with paint on tin foil, discovering new textures and effects along the way.
It has been a fantastic start to the new year, full of learning, teamwork, creativity, and fun. We’re excited for all that 2026 has in store! 🎉❄️
