Parachute Teamwork!

This week in Reception we have been busy practising our teamwork, turn-taking and listening skills — and we’ve had so much fun doing it! We loved working together as part of a team and supporting one another.

We began by testing our skills with a tricky challenge: keeping three balls floating on the parachute at the same time. This led to lots of laughter and giggles as we worked out how to move together.

Next, we played a game where we had to lift the parachute high and, after counting to three, quickly swap places with another child. This really tested our listening skills and timing!

Finally, we worked together to lift the parachute and then carefully shuffled our bottoms underneath to create a giant “mushroom.” It was amazing — and we were all so proud of ourselves for working so well as a team.

We also explored floating and sinking - some of us made some fantastic boats which we experimented with in the water. Our resilience and perseverance was excpetional!

What a joyful and successful week of learning! 🌟
