Practical Division

 This week in maths the children have been learning how to divide two-digit numbers into equal groups.  Today was a trickier task as the children had to divide a two-digit number and exchange a ten stick for ten ones.  The children cleared their tables and then had great fun writing T and O on the table with a whiteboard pen and then arranging and exchanging the base ten so that the given calculation was worked out and shown.  We do love getting practical in maths so the knowledge gets stuck in our heads!
