Our Week in Reception 🌟

This week in Reception we’ve been busy problem-solvers! We’ve been working really hard on puzzles, and our absolute favourite was the space puzzle — we loved spotting all the planets and rockets! 🚀🪐

We’ve also been learning about Remembrance Day and the importance of the poppy. We watched My First Festivals and met a little girl and her family who showed us what life was like during the war. We learned all about Anderson shelters, ration books, and why people wore poppies to remember those who helped keep us safe. ❤️🌺

In Maths, we’ve been shape detectives! 🔍 We’re getting super good at spotting circles and triangles all around our classroom and even outside in the playground.
