Year 4 Shakespeare by the Sea
Shakespeare by the Sea
What a performance!
We wanted to share just how proud we are of the students following their performance of Antony and Cleopatra at Weymouth Pavilion as part of the Shakespeare by the Sea project.
Across these weeks, the class worked with real focus, professionalism and enthusiasm, but their final performance was something truly special. They absolutely saved their best for last. The confidence, clarity and emotional depth they brought to the stage on the final day was outstanding. They captivated the audience from start to finish.
Performing Shakespeare is never easy and doing so in a professional theatre setting takes courage, resilience and teamwork. Year 4 rose to the challenge in every possible way. They supported one another, responded brilliantly to direction and showed just how much they had grown as performers.
They represented themselves and the school with maturity, pride and integrity. We could not be more impressed with their attitude both on and off the stage. It was a joy to watch them develop into such a strong ensemble and deliver such a powerful and polished performance.
Thank you for your continued support. Opportunities like this would not be possible without it. We know you are as proud of the children as we are.
