Y3 Our sensory walk
This week we enjoyed a lovely walk in our beautiful, new sensory garden. The children used their senses (except taste!) to experience all the garden has to offer. They enjoyed rubbing their fingers between the herbs and smelling the scent produced. They also enjoyed listening to the musical instruments and looking at bugs and spiders hiding under the terracotta pots! A mushroom was spotted growing in the grass too, as well as some beautiful purple flowers.
This walk was inspired by our current English book "The Wilderness" and a boy called Oktober who is a bit afraid of what might be outside!
