A great start to year 3!

I have really enjoyed the start of the term and the 2 days I have had with the new year 3's! They have created a decorative label for their sketch books as well as begun a beautiful monochromatic self-portrait which will go on display in the classroom.  The children also created a class charter where they decided what they wanted and didn't want in their school day, which included, kind hands and feet, being honest, looking after one another.  They drew around their hands as if to shake hands in agreement and this will be displayed in the classroom as a reminded that we are all important and special and need to be treated with respect and kindness.  

I look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday morning.
