The Wonderful World of Webpages

This half term in Computing, Year 5 have been diving into the exciting world of systems and searching. Earlier in the term, the children became internet detectives, exploring different websites to uncover fascinating facts about NASA and space.

After gathering all their information, they planned their very own webpages in their writing books—some of which are proudly on display in our classroom! Then came the big challenge: bringing their ideas to life on Google Sites.

Each child worked hard to make their webpage eye-catching, easy to navigate and packed with interesting facts. The results? Absolutely AMAZING! Some children even added pictures, videos and clever hyperlinks to other pages, building their websites bit by bit like real web designers.

Their finished pages don’t just show off what they’ve learned about space—they also prove how much their computing skills have rocketed this half term. Fantastic work, Year 5! 🚀
