Winter Songfest

Year 5 and 6 truly embraced the festive spirit with the introduction of a wonderful new annual event to our Christmas calendar - the Winter Songfest. Dressed in festive outfits and carrying beautifully handmade lanterns, the children created a magical atmosphere as the hall lights dimmed and their voices filled the room.

The children sang their hearts out and shared festive poems, instantly putting everyone in the Christmas spirit. With four fabulous songs performed - some even inviting parents, grandparents and siblings to join in - the evening was a joyous celebration that will be remembered for years to come. It truly was a magical occasion.

A huge thank you to Mrs Murray and Mrs Walkinshaw for all their hard work and creativity in helping the children make the lanterns. Special thanks to Mr. Frampton for capturing some stunning photographs of our very first Songfest and to Dan for his dedication in teaching the children such wonderfully Christmassy songs. Finally, thank you to the children themselves for their fantastic performances and for helping us all feel ready for the Christmas break.

We wish you all a very happy Christmas!
