A Buzzing Afternoon of Computing🐝

This afternoon, Year 1 had their first exciting lesson in controlling robots (or Bee-Bots, as we like to call them because they look just like little bees! 🐝)

The children couldn’t wait to get their hands on the Bee-Bots and were eager to explore how they worked. They all successfully located the on and off buttons and were very quick to get the little robots moving!

There were lots of giggles and excitement, especially when the Bee-Bots tried to drive straight off the edge of the table! The children had to be quick to stop them before they took a tumble!

Year 1 had so much fun exploring, experimenting and beginning to develop their computing skills. It’s safe to say that the children are already hooked!

We can’t wait to see what else we get up to this term in computing!
