A positive start to a brand new year!

It was brilliant to welcome back year 3 this week.  They have started off the new year with a hugely positive attitude!  Many of the children this week have been rewarded certificates as they have been spotted being positive, reflective or resilient.  Some we are going to keep on our positivity board for a short while but most children were eager to take them home to celebrate their achievements with their family, and I don't blame them! 

This week in English we have begun a new book called The Search for the giant Arctic jellyfish by Chloe Savage.  The children are enthralled with the illustrations and spotting the elusive jellyfish and the writing they are creating is a joy to read! We are really looking forward to continuing next week.
