This week in DT, we’ve kicked off an exciting new project—designing and building our very own Roman chariots! Linking with our recent science learning on electricity, we are beginning to explore how we can use simple circuits, including batteries, wires, and motors, to make our chariots move. So far, we’ve been sharing ideas, sketching designs, and thinking carefully about how our models will work as well as look like authentic Roman vehicles.
There’s already been lots of great discussion, creativity, and problem-solving as we start planning our builds. We’re looking forward to bringing our designs to life over the next few lessons and seeing if we can get our chariots racing!
