🔥 Year 2: The Great Fire of Southill
History came alive when Year 2 recreated the Great Fire of London in the playground! A massive thank you to our local firefighters who came along to keep everyone safe and share their expertise. The children were absolutely fascinated.
🏖️ Year 3: Beach Champions
Some of our Year 3 pupils headed to the beach for a multi-skills festival this week. Despite the rain, they were amazing! Your resilience and positive attitudes were outstanding – you represented Southill brilliantly. Well done!

👕 Year 6: Leavers' Hoodies & St Ives Prep
A proud moment this week as Year 6 were presented with their leavers' hoodies! They wore them to create sculptures inspired by Barbara Hepworth as they prepare for their residential to St Ives next week. Have a wonderful trip, Year 6!
Important Reminder: Free School Meals
Please check your emails or messages: You should have received important information about changes to free school meals eligibility. This could affect your family, so please take a moment to read through the information carefully and apply through the Dorset Council website if you think your child might be eligible. If you have any questions, please contact the school office and we'll be happy to help.
Next Week
I'll be away with Year 6 on their St Ives residential next week, so I'm leaving the school in Matt's very capable hands.
Have a wonderful weekend! Hopefully the sunshine will return. 🌞
