Joining clauses - but not Santa Clauses!
This week the children were looking at the structure of a sentence and the clauses within it. They were given a sentence linked to the text we are doing in class called "Interview with a tiger and other clawed beasts too." The children were physically moving around clauses and making them make sense both ways. It was tricky to begin with but with perseverance, resilience and great listening they began to get it and wrote some great sentences!
