Little Robin Red Vest

🎄 Reception Class Blog – Our Magical Trip to Poole Lighthouse! 🎄

What an unforgettable week we’ve had in Reception! On Thursday, we set off on a very special adventure to Poole Lighthouse to watch the wonderful Christmas story “Little Robin Red Vest.”

🐦 A Heart-warming Story

The children were captivated from start to finish. The storyline was truly lovely—Little Robin set off on his winter journey wearing seven cosy woollen vests, and along the way he met seven different friends in need. With a kind and generous heart, he gave each friend one of his vests to help keep them warm.
At the end of the story, Mrs Claus surprised the robin by knitting him his very own bright red vest as a thank-you for his kindness. It was a beautiful message about generosity, friendship, and the joy of giving.

🎶 Excitement From Start to Finish

The excitement began the moment we climbed aboard the coach! The children filled the journey with cheerful singing—practising their nativity songs with big smiles and even bigger voices. Their enthusiasm continued throughout the entire performance and all the way home. It was a joy to see just how much they were enjoying the experience.

Superb Behaviour

I was incredibly proud of how sensible, polite, and respectful the children were during our trip. Their behaviour was absolutely impeccable, and they represented our school beautifully. Well done, Reception—you made your teacher very proud!

Thank you, Reception, for a truly magical day out.
Well done, Reception! 🎄✨
