Marvelous Maths

This week's maths has focused on using number lines. The children have been estimating where numbers sit on a number line, ordering numbers, and even built their own using Numicon. We recognised that five is always in the middle between two multiples of ten which helped us with our estimating. We then made things even harder by starting our number lines at numbers other than 0.

The children showed great reasoning skills and worked brilliantly with their friends to solve any problems and overcome any misconceptions.
