Pyramid Masterpieces

Today the children had a whole day of Design and Technology building their fantastic pyramids and then painting them.  The children used different joins, learned in their previous DT lessons.  The main joins used today were a tie join and an L-brace join using split pins.  The children showed great resilience and perseverance, problem solving skills as well as team work.  It was fantastic to see how proud of themselves they were when they achieved something new and their pyramids began to come together.  The children would not have been able to do this today without the amazing support of the families that came to help in the morning and afternoon.  Thank you very much!
