Science Sounds! 🔊🧪

Next term in Science we are learning all about SOUND! Today we had a very exciting visit from Professor Lee who taught us lots of amazing facts and fun experiments.

We discovered how sound travels in different ways and even became scientists ourselves! 🧑‍🔬👩‍🔬

One of our favourite activities was making cup telephones using cups and string. We tested them with our friends and were amazed at how clearly we could hear each other! ☎️✨

We also learnt about sound waves and found out that sound travels best through solids because the particles are packed closely together. We tried different materials and listened carefully to compare the sounds. 👂🎶

It was a noisy, exciting and fun-filled day full of scientific discoveries. We can’t wait to learn even more about sound next term! 🔊🌟
