Suffix Superstars!

This week the children in year 3 were learning about the suffixes -ness and -ment. They had to work as a team to decide where root words would go in a table that they had drawn on the table! There was some great discussion and deliberation and just to make them work that bit harder, I told them there was a word within their pile that couldn't go into either side of the suffix table!

After enough time was given we went through the answers and I could hear little cheers as the team congratulated themselves. At the end one of the children said "That was so much fun!"
