World Book Day

This World Day the children of Southill Primary started their day with an assembly hosted by Alex Wharton, award-winning writer, poet, performer and singer song writer.  The children were engaged in poetry participation and then later on attended a poetry workshop with him.  They were introduced to a couple of his poems and the children used this inspiration to come up with their own marvellous poetry.  It was a great day to be extra creative!
