Y6: Resist!

In year 6 we started the new term with a really interesting writing unit based on the excellent book 'Resist' by Tom Palmer. This detailed, emotive and gripping tale tells the true story of a young Audrey Hepburn, who grew up in the Netherlands before settling in Britain and finding fame as an actress. During World War 2, Hepburn took the very risky decision to work for The Resistance, as a leaflet distributor and then as an entertainer. One of Year 6's first tasks was to create a poster persuading people to join The Resistance while warning them of the potential dangers too! Well done, a great start to a great unit of study.
