Year 2 patterns and Bee-Bots!

This week we have been focusing on giving instructions in computing. The Bee-Bots proved perfect for this. The children worked in pairs to programme in where they wanted them to go, changing their instructions accordingly. We saw lots of teamwork, resilience and giggles!

We have now come to the end of our monochromatic art unit. The children have learned a lot about different patterns, designed their own and been inspired by each other along the way. It is always lovely to hear the compliments they give their peers and something we really encourage. 

Next week, we will start our science unit, all about changing seasons which will link brilliantly with our upcoming trip to the farm.
