Lots of people have found last weeks spellings very tricky, therefore these words have been set again. They are important story words which link in with our class text.

For children who are confident spelling these words, please practice them in a sentence. For example..Have a nice weekend said the man. Perhaps they could retell our class story and apply them in that sentence.

It is really important that your child is able to apply these in their story not just in isolation during our spelling tests.

Maths

Over the past week we have been learning about addition and subtraction. Please practice lots of questions at home muddling up addition and subtraction, we are working really hard to look at the symbol carefully before working out. Focus on adding or subtracting zero as this often catches us out.
