To kick off book week in year 2, the children made their own owl using cotton wool, twigs collected at the weekend, black card and lots of creativity! Recently the children finished the class novel The owl who was afraid of the dark and this has been the inspiration.  Today they will be writing instructions so others can make their own owl creations and tomorrow we will be writing non-chronological reports about owls.
